Love in Contract Episode 10: Recap
While still in bed, Choi Sang Eun calls Ji-Ho to see how he is doing and to converse. Though she appeared exhausted, Ji-Ho instructed her to go to bed in a very honest manner. He also mentions the fact that she would become Hae-wife Jin’s the next day; therefore, she needs to rest. Despite the awkwardness that results, Ji-Ho compensates by contacting them and requesting to meet sooner since he misses her.
Sang-Eun is awakened by Gwang-Nam, who is concerned because Madame Yoo has been acting extremely oddly. In actuality, she has prepared breakfast for the two of them as she plans and arranges for her and Hae-Jin to wed. She was also in charge of cleaning Sang-room. Ji-Ho, meantime, arrives at work entirely changed. He smiles broadly, expresses happiness, and even requests that Sang-Eun be invited to all future company gatherings by his employer.
All of this is ready to come tumbling down as Madam Yoo keeps plotting to bring Sang-Eun back to the house and arrange this marriage with Hae-Jin. In relation to that, he wonders if Sang-Eun is simply being evasive or if she truly doesn’t want to be with him. Ultimately, Sang-Eun dispels any confusion by visiting Hae-Jin and declaring she wants to move forward with Ji-Ho. Hae-Jin requests the same amount of time that Ji-Ho has since she won’t take no for an answer. Sang-Eun isn’t having any of it and says that all she wants is to go on with her life and be free of Kangjin and the Eena Group.
Instead, Sang-Eun returns to Ji-Ho, who invites her to the golfing range to assist in teaching him how to swing properly and improve for their future date. Sadly, Ji-supervisor Ho arrives, ruining their preparations for their first meal together. While having dinner with the bosses, Ji-Ho holds her hand and even forbids Sang-Eun from drinking, using the fact that they are attempting to conceive as a shield. Ji-Eun learns about Yoo’s plotting when she overhears Sang-Eun at the supermarket talking on the phone to Ji-Ho. She calls Hae-Jin to inform him, and he responds by explaining that this is only a requirement of their agreement.
Hae-Jin appears unexpectedly to meet Sang-Eun, just as she is about to arrive at Ji- Ho’s. Instead, Ji-Eun appears and points out that Ji-connection Ho’s with Sang-Eun isn’t what he wants. As the two corporates desperately try to pair Sang-Eun and Hae-Jin, she passes over her card and urges him to cease his “mad game.” Unfortunately, there are photographers around, and they photograph the couple, with Sang-Eun eventually going away.
Sang-Eun does go up to visit Ji-Ho that night, as the two decide to accept each other for who they are. It’s a lovely moment, and the two eventually decide to order lunch because Sang-shrimps Eun’s were destroyed by Hae-Jin scooping her up.
Sang-Eun also makes the audacious decision to abandon her Contract with Hae-Jin and go all-in for Ji-Ho. Ji-Ho suggests that they go out to eat afterward to celebrate, and she agrees. Sang-Eun appears to visit Hae-Jin, delivering the news and expressing her desire for him to be happy. There is a problem, even though they resolve things nicely. Sang Eun’s picture has been leaked, and it is no longer a secret who she is. It’s all over the place and has gone fully viral. Unfortunately, Ji-Ho notices this while at work and realizes it is about to undermine all of his hard work, especially when his employers discover what has transpired.
