The holiday movie- A Taste of Christmas, which was released in 2020, tracks the story of  Natalie Rogers, a young lady who is full of life. Her cousin Olivia gets into a peculiar problem, and Natalie decides to help her so that she can manage to open her brand-new Italian restaurant on Christmas Eve. She ends up encountering a young and smart chef Stefano during the opening of the restaurant.

The rest of the story follows their journey as they both end up falling in love with each other. Do you know this light-hearted rom-com’s shooting was completed in just three weeks? The makers wanted to ensure that they winded up the movie before Christmas. The movie is all about the celebration and joy which accompanies any festival. Now the movie got average reviews, primarily due to poorly written characters. Many felt that the storyline should have been more engaging. A Taste of Christmas Filming Locations 

Georgia, The majority of the movie was filmed in the southeastern state of Georgia. Georgia has always captivated the attention of filmmakers due to its stunning landscapes, flora, fauna, etc., that act as a perfect filming location. Also, the temperate climate of the region is an added advantage.

The two towns which were featured in the film include Helen and Dahlonega. Many films have been shot in Georgia, including the likes of  The Hunger Games, The Vampire Dairies, etc. Now we will explore the places covered in A Taste Of Christmas.

Dahlonega 

The town of Dahlonega

Dahlonega has always been popular among history buffs. Due to its ideal location, Dahlonega has been preferred by many filmmakers to shoot their movies. The town is bordered by the Blue Ridge Mountains. A Taste Of Christmas isn’t the first Christmas movie to be shot here. Manu popular Christmas movies have been filmed here. The town is filled up with holiday decorations at every hook and corner.

The town of Helen

The small town of Helen, which has a meager population of a few hundred, was chosen to be the filming location for some parts of the movie. This sleepy town is a major tourist attraction as it seems like a replica of the gorgeous alpine towns of Europe. The holiday movie has been shot across various locations across White County. 

Dahlonega General Store

The Dahlonega General Store was frequently shown in the movie. The store’s exquisite decorations for the Christmas festival added to the festive spirit of the movie. Want to visit this store and do some shopping? Well,  head to 24 Public Square, Dahlonega, and there you have this beautiful store. 

Dahlonega Square Hotel & Villas

This cozy hotel has an old-world charm due to its intricate architecture that dates back to the 1880s. The hotel’s huge chandeliers, candle stands, etc., impressed the viewers. A sequence featuring the wine-tasting room was also shot here. If you wish to stay here, then head to Chestatee Street in Georgia.

Cranberry Corners

This small store features twice in A Taste of Christmas. Though we didn’t get to see the interiors of the gift shop as both scenes were shot outside the Cranberry Corners. You can visit the gift shop by heading toward Park Street. 

 Crimson Moon Bar

The characters of  A Taste of Christmas frequently head to the Crimson Moon Bar to enjoy drinks. This eatery is situated very close to the public square of Dahlonega town. Want to enjoy good food with live music? Head to 24 N Park Street to visit the Crimson Moon Bar.

Hancock Park-The Festival Of Trees

 The beautiful park added to the festive spirits of the town. Hancock Park is in the center of the town. The movie showcases the Festival of Trees being held at Hancock Park. This festival is celebrated every December. If you want to enjoy it, then head to the beautiful town of Dahlonega. 

So if you are feeling too curious, then simply head to Helen and Dahlonega to enjoy the beautiful locations. You will feel quite impressed to witness how both the small towns would be dressed up in festive vibes. You might feel as if you have entered the sets of some Hallmark holiday movies.
