For Julia Haart, the previous year wasn’t particularly easy. Following her dismissal from Elite World Group in February 2022, the 51-year-old star of the Netflix show My Unorthodox Life filed for divorce from her husband, Silvio Scaglia.
After her daughter Batsheva’s nine-year marriage to Ben Weinstein ended in November 2021, she received the news shortly after. Now that My Unorthodox Life season 2 is available on streaming services, everyone can see firsthand how the turmoil in the Haart home is developing.
The number of lawsuits and legal battles has increased ever since Haart-break made the news. According to Julia, who spoke to USA Today, “There were numerous things that are happening each day that all we could do was to just cling on and just move forward.” “There wasn’t enough time to arrange or make plans. We had to simply endure the bizarre things that happened every day.”
If you need a reminder, Silvio Scaglia, Julia’s husband, worked with her before he acquired Elite World Group around 2011. Later, following their 2019 wedding, Silvio appointed Julia co-owner and CEO. Even her last name was taken by him. In the season 2 premiere, Scaglia was seen leaving the couple’s stunning TriBeCa apartment after 2.5 years, indicating that they had split up.
More information concerning the couple’s current turn of events and what transpired following My Unorthodox Life season 2 is provided in the following paragraphs.
Why Was Julia Haart Fired?
A $257 million lawsuit was brought by Julia Haart, the star of the Netflix series My Unorthodox Life, six months after she was let go from her position as chief executive of Elite World Group (EWG).
Viewers are only now learning that she is no longer in charge of renowned modeling agency EWG, despite having served as its chief executive for a number of years, as season 2 of My Unorthodox Life begins to show on the streaming service.
Aside from Julia losing her job in the new season, she is also going through a divorce from Silvio Scaglia, so there is plenty of drama in store. But Julia is a well-known fighter, and in February 2022, she sued, claiming she was the owner of half of EWG, after being fired.
Julia lost her job as CEO of Elite World Group in January 2022, but a month later, she launched a lawsuit claiming ownership of 50% of the business.

After they got married in 2019, she claimed Silvio made her the co-owner and CEO of EWG. According to Julia’s attorney, the action taken to dismiss Julia Haart from her CEO position was illegal and had no effect. Additionally, they asserted:
She served as one of the two directors and owned 50% of the company. The unfortunate timing of this is right, as Julia and Silvio’s divorce process is just getting started. Any legal rights or remedies are going to be used by Julia.
Page Six says that vice-chancellor Morgan T. Zurn of the Delaware Court of Chancery ruled Julia did not control 50% of the “preferred stock” of EWG’s parent company Freedom Holdings.
What Is Julia Haart’s Networth?
Julia’s net worth is predicted by Women’s Health Mag to be over $1 billion in 2022, despite that setback. Julia asserted in 2021 that she acquired EWG in 2018 when it had a market value of $90 million and that two years later, it had a market worth of more than $1 billion.
As per Trend Net Worth, her salary as the CEO of EWG was around $2 million per year or $400,000 per month. Julia was formerly the creative director for the Italian lingerie fashion firm La Perla and sold her shoe line several years ago.
Julia brought a second $257 million lawsuit against Silvio in July 2022. After she filed for divorce, the lawsuit claimed Silvio “defrauded her out of millions from their firm,” according to People. In the lawsuit, Julia claimed that Silvio had barred her from the EWG office, revoked her business cards, turned off the phone at their house, and fired her staff.
Page Six reports that after Julia requested a restraining order, a New York Supreme Court judge found in late summer 2022 that “there was no fear expressed by either side and no intimidation, particularly not of the wife.”
Does Julia Haart Start Her New Company?
Julie reveals in My Unorthodox Life that she is starting a company called Haart Sphere. NBC News reported in January 2022 that Julia was using model avatars to advance technology.
Julia’s daughter Miriam mentions that she is the chief technology officer at Haart Sphere in episode 6 of the 2022 series. In episode 6, ex-EWG CFO Robert Zaffiris also shows up at the Haart Sphere gathering.
The startup will be a new business for the Haarts, and Julia will serve as CEO. The technology we desire to be present in Haart Sphere doesn’t exist anywhere, according to Miriam in the Netflix series.
