These are only a few. There are many other stations, such as Balamii, KCRW, Pandora Radio, and CNN, that are liked by people who are a fan of listening to the radio. There are many radio jockeys that are loved by people, too, such as Glenn Beck, RJ Renu, Chris Evans, Shekar Bose, and RJ Malishka.
You all must be thinking, why are we talking about radio and their jockeys today? You must all be curious to know the reason. The reason is pretty simple; in this article, we will talk about one radio jockey, David Druid, who announced his engagement in late 2022 through one broadcast.

Who is Radio Presenter David Druid?
David Druid, who was born in Uppsala in Sweden on July 25 in the year 1984, is a stand-up comedian and a radio presenter. He started his stand-up career in the year 2008 by appearing in a Stockholm Comedy Club, Bungy Comedy, and he was also on the Stockholm Comedy tour in the same year. He also starred in Comedy Central LIVE in 2011.
David Druid
Comedy Central is known for its wide range of comedy shows, such as classic shows like F.R.I.E.N.D.S., The Big Bang Theory, South Park, The Daily Show, Comedy Central Stand-Up Presenters, and many more. Besides performing in Comedy Central LIVE, he also performed in clubs, including Nora Brunn and Raw Comedy Club.
Till now, we have talked about David’s career as a stand-up comedian, but he is also a radio presenter and has appeared on TV. Let’s have a look at that too.
David Druid played the character of Bokstavsbarnet on Ballar av Stal, which was aired on Kanal 5. He was also in Extra! Extra!, which was on TV3. He was also seen on a Swedish annual TV program whose name was Sommarkrysset, in 2010. The show broadcasted on TV4.
In 2010 only, he covered a radio report along with Mickie Tavio-Viera, and they both were called by the name of David Druid and Mike, the cam guy. After his radio report, he appeared as Robin T. Larsson on The Office in 2012, followed by playing the role of Tony Scala in The Girl Who Played with Fire.
David Druid was also the recorder of Alla mina Karmat. He covered the program along with Martin Soneby and Fritte Fritzon. He was with the program for 69 episodes, and after his departure, his position was taken over by Nisse Hallberg and David Sudin. He left the program in late 2013, and in the same year, he became Morgonpasset’s new presenter.

David Druid was awarded a Golden Ear award in the year 2022 for his participation in Morgonpasset, and the same year he also announced his engagement news during his broadcast with Morgonpasset.
David Druid Announces His Engagement in Morgonpasset
The radio presenter announced his engagement news with his girlfriend, Elena Samuelsson. He first announced the news on his Instagram that he and his girlfriend are engaged, and later during his broadcast, he announced it verbally.
Morgonpasset, another presenter, Margret Atladottir, announced that David had committed a courtship which was later confirmed by David himself. Before confirming this news to the world verbally, he took to his Instagram to lets his followers also witness this happy moment.
He updated his Instagram story and wrote that we were going to get married. David’s girlfriend, Elena, revealed the news before David did. Elena, through her Instagram, thanked David for letting her spend the rest of her life with him and also expressed her love by writing ‘I love you.’
She also mentioned that they met a year ago, and it was love at first sight, and David proposed to her when they were signing their house. It was the day before Christmas David proposed to Elena, and she said yes.
