Simple Kapadia, an actress who later became a fashion designer, was born on August 15, 1958, in Bombay to Chunnibhai and Betty Kapadia. After receiving a cancer diagnosis in 2006, Simple Kapadia carried on with his job despite the discomfort. She passed away at the age of 51 on November 10th, 2009, in an Andheri, Mumbai hospital.
Dimple Kapadia is a sister of Reem Kapadia and a sibling of Suhail Kapadia. Simply attended school at Kodaikanal, but her naughty behavior led to her expulsion.

Simple Kapadia’s Career As Actress And Fashion Designer:
At the age of 18, Simple Kapadia made her film debut in 1977 alongside Rajesh Khanna, her then-brother-in-law, in Shakti Samanta’s Anurodh in the role of Sumitha Mathur.
Contrary to popular assumption, she wasn’t cast because of her relationship with the lead actor; rather, Samanta found her long before Dimple and Rajesh were even married and convinced her to appear in his upcoming project.
Additionally, she underwent a demanding brief training time with an acting graduate of FTII. She struggled to convey her emotions in close-ups as a first-time actor in front of the camera. She played a second doctor in Basu Chatterjee’s Chakravyuha the next year, which wasn’t too challenging for her to perform. She co-starred with Rajesh Khanna in this movie as well.
Simple persisted in acting for approximately ten years despite these obstacles, mainly playing supporting roles. Among her well-known movies are “Shakka,” “Chakravyuha,” “Lootmaar,” “Zamaane Ko Dikhana Hai,” “Jeevan Dhaara,” and “Dulha Bikta Hai.” She also acted alongside Shekhar Suman in the 1985 art movie “Rehguzar.” The item song for the 1987 movie “Parakh” marked her final performance as an actor.
In spite of having been in over 20 films, she was now solely known as a “star sister” when a new chapter in her life as a garment designer began in 1988. Although she was now wholly at Dimple’s disposal, the rules continued.

The phrase “the out-of-work sister turned dress designer to help the star sister” was even used to describe her. But she was able to silence the doubters when she took home the National Award for Rudaali in 1994. Despite the fact that she was now a highly sought-after dress designer, it was unfairly claimed by critics that “she was only doing costumes for Sunny Deol, Dimple & niece Twinkle.”
The Saddest Reality Of Simple Kapadia’s Personal Life:
Simple had to put up with scathing media criticism at such a young age when he was hardly an adult. Things like “she could not act even if her life depended on it” and “she was as ugly as her sister Dimple was stunning” were horrifyingly spoken about her.
It got so bad that she was unable to leave her house and was forced to spend months indoors. That was horrific, and I am unaware of any new actress who has experienced something like that.
Imagine what Simple’s thoughts must have been after hearing such abhorrent remarks. Despite never saying so, the Anurodh phase of her life had a significant impact on her. She must have had a lot of pain as a result.

She received no attention ever. Her family and friends were all outraged about how beautiful they were, while she was ignored and only occasionally mentioned in articles, always in extremely negative words.
She must have had severe trauma from this. Again, consider how she must have felt to constantly come in second and be left behind.
