Christine Brown, the beloved star of ‘Sister Wives,’ has taken the plunge and married David Woolley in a heartwarming ceremony. The 51-year-old reality TV personality sealed the deal on a memorable Saturday.
The enchanting wedding took place in Moab, Utah, with a gathering of around 330 cherished guests, as reported by People magazine. Christine herself shared her feelings about the momentous occasion, saying, “It’s a fairytale. It’s everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does; it’s a dream come true.”
According to People, the wedding festivities began the night before with a delightful dinner cruise down the Colorado River. During the ceremony, Christine’s son, Paedon, and her father proudly escorted her to the altar. Following a passionate kiss, they were introduced to their loved ones as Mr. and Mrs. Woolley, all while Etta James’ “At Last” set the romantic tone in the background.
This wedding marks Christine’s first legal marriage after spiritually marrying her ex, Kody Brown, in 1994. Christine and Kody have six children together: Aspyn Brown, Mykelti Padron, Paedon Brown, Gwendlyn Brown, Ysabel Brown, and Truely Brown. Christine publicly announced their separation in late 2021.

Christine and David began their private relationship in October 2022 and made it official on Valentine’s Day the following February, with Christine affectionately referring to David as “The love of my life.” In April, they joyfully announced their engagement on social media.
David, a widowed father of eight, tragically lost his first wife to suicide and addiction in 2012.
While David hasn’t appeared in any promotional material for season 18 of ‘Sister Wives,’ fans anticipate his presence on the Brown family’s TLC series. When Christine introduced him to the world, she shared pictures that included camera crews in the background.
Leading up to their wedding date, the couple moved into a new home in Lehi, Utah. David joined Christine for numerous special family gatherings, including the July wedding of Christine and Kody’s daughter, Gwendlyn, and a recent extensive family trip to the United Kingdom with Christine’s daughters: Mykelti, Aspyn, Ysabel, and Truely.
Since Christine’s split from Kody in 2021, it appears that his second wife, Janelle Brown, has also separated from him. Janelle previously confirmed their separation and expressed doubts about a future together in season 18 of the show, indicating her reluctance to be married. Kody’s estranged first wife, Meri Brown, announced her decision to “permanently terminate” her marriage to the polygamist in January. Robyn Brown remains the only wife in an active, legal marriage to Kody, and Christine had previously cited Kody’s alleged favoritism toward Robyn as the primary reason for leaving their marriage.”
