The incident occurred during an episode of the UK’s “Jonathan Ross Show,” where Blunt was discussing her experiences while working on the film “Looper,” alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, and Paul Dano. The conversation took an uncomfortable turn when the host, Jonathan Ross, made a remark about Chili’s restaurants and their American customers.
Blunt inappropriately interjected with a comment about the size of the server who had attended to her during a meal at Chili’s. She also mentioned that the server had recognized her during her visit to the restaurant.
