Famous actor Milo Ventimiglia, known for his part in “This Is Us,” recently made a crucial decision that will change his entire life. He secretly married model girlfriend Jarah Mariano at the age of 45, according to a representative who spoke with PEOPLE.
Troy Williams of Simply Troy skillfully planned the wedding, which was first made public by Us Weekly. In a private ceremony attended by a small group of their close family and friends, the pair, who are both in their late thirties, enthusiastically celebrated their engagement early this year.
The relationship between Ventimiglia and Mariano was initially alluded to on the Instagram account Deuxmoi in 2022. Deuxmoi posted a question on their Instagram Story along with a picture of the couple in swimsuits in response to a follower’s query about Ventimiglia’s relationship status. The picture showed the couple clutching a champagne bottle while looking into one other’s eyes. “Welcome to the hood @jaharm + mi,” the caption hinted at a joint shift to a new neighborhood.

Once again, Deuxmoi brought attention to their love tale in June 2023. After noticing Mariano was sporting a sizable diamond ring and band, a fan enquired as to if they were married.
Ventimiglia is well-known for being incredibly quiet when it comes to personal affairs, and he has continuously stated that he wants to keep his private life private. He further explained his strategy in a 2017 interview with PEOPLE, saying, “I try to minimize myself so people can see the character and can really dive into the work. I try to remain as anonymous and invisible as possible so as to not detract from the experience of the characters I portray. I don’t find my life any more interesting than anyone else’s.”
Ventimiglia stressed the importance of striking a delicate balance between personal and professional obligations in another interview with PEOPLE. He said, “I believe there’s a trade-off between one’s personal life and one’s performance, such as acting and work. If one’s personal life begins to overshadow one’s work, then the work suffers. Your actual performance is affected because the audience no longer sees the character; they see you. At that point, you’re merely playing yourself, but a version of yourself that is not truly you. I have a life, but there’s no need for the world to know about it because I’m just like anyone else.”
Despite this, Ventimiglia doesn’t avoid communicating his preferences with a partner despite his secrecy in his private life. He revealed that he values “honesty, authenticity, and intellect” in a spouse during an episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” in February 2023. He also offered fun insights into his personal life, rating his love for cuddling at 20 on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 denoting the most enthusiastic cuddler, and characterizing his sleep outfit in three words: “Not wearing much.”
