Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been quite open about their romantic involvement, but there are aspects of their relationship that Kelce prefers to keep private. During a recent press conference held before the Kansas City Chiefs’ overseas game in Germany, Kelce was questioned about the current status of their relationship.
Kelce responded, “The latest status is I got to see her last week. That’s the latest status right there.” When a bold reporter inquired whether he was “in love” with the Eras Tour singer, Kelce maintained his stance, saying, “I’m going to keep my personal relationship personal.”
With the upcoming game against the Miami Dolphins scheduled for Sunday, November 5, Kelce was also asked if Swift would be in attendance. He continued to play it close to the vest, stating, “When I mention—or everyone knows—she’s at the game, the Vegas [line] and over-under on my catches goes up and down. The spread goes up and down. So I don’t want to mess with any of that stuff…I’m just going to keep that to myself.”
Notably, on October 22, Swift watched Kelce’s team secure a victory against the Los Angeles Chargers. During the broadcast, CBS presented a graphic comparing Kelce’s performance when she was present in the bleachers to when he was “left to his own devices.” It was noted that Kelce gained an impressive 99 yards per game with her in attendance, as opposed to 46.5 when she wasn’t cheering him on.
Even Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, brought up this phenomenon on their New Heights podcast. He mentioned, “Taylor was in attendance, and it’s turning out it was good she was in attendance because they put your stats up—when she’s at the game when she is not at the game. I don’t know if you’re aware of this.” Kelce humorously responded, “How could I not be aware of this? ‘Left to his own devices.’ Well put.”
