The Ramsay family has expanded once again! Celebrating his birthday on Wednesday, renowned chef Gordon Ramsay, 57, and his wife Tana Ramsay, 49, joyfully announced the arrival of their sixth child, a son named Jesse James Ramsay. Gordon took to Instagram to share the exciting news, posting three heartwarming photos of the newest member of the Ramsay crew.
In his caption, the Kitchen Nightmares host expressed his delight, describing Jesse James Ramsay as a “7lbs 10oz whopper” and referring to him as an “amazing birthday present.” Gordon playfully highlighted the gender balance in their growing family, noting, “One more bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade!! 3 boys, 3 girls…. Done 👊🏼❤️❤️.”

Accompanying their latest addition, Gordon and Tana are already proud parents to five other children—25-year-old daughter Megan, 23-year-old twins Jack and Holly, 22-year-old daughter Matilda “Tilly,” and 4-year-old son Oscar. The shared images captured tender moments of Gordon kissing the newborn’s head and Tana cradling their precious bundle of joy. Additional pictures showcased Tana’s radiant smile beside baby Jesse.
Tana also took to her own Instagram account to share the same photos, along with an adorable image of baby Jesse meeting his older brother Oscar. In her caption, she expressed gratitude for the journey, stating, “It’s been a nerve-wracking 9 months, but we’ve made it and have been blessed with this little bundle.” Tana declared the Ramsay family complete with Jesse James Ramsay, adding, “We love you so much ❤️🙏🏼.”
Despite the family’s happiness, a representative for Gordon did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment. Gordon Ramsay had previously revealed in a September interview with PEOPLE that Tana desired another child, humorously envisioning himself at school events with a “f—ing walker.” Tana, sharing her perspective, expressed a desire for a big family, citing the influence of both her and Gordon’s upbringing in families of four.
The Ramsay kitchen is now bustling with the warmth and joy brought by their newest member, Jesse James Ramsay.
