Legal documents sourced by PEOPLE from Los Angeles reveal that Appleton cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce, with a designated separation date of November 10. The documents further disclose the existence of a postnuptial agreement.
Appleton, renowned for his hairstyling prowess among celebrities, particularly Kim Kardashian, tied the knot with Gage in a Las Vegas ceremony officiated by Kardashian herself on April 22. Gage, the 28-year-old star of White Lotus, shared a series of photos on Instagram captioned, “Ring finger where the rock is,” showcasing the couple’s vows earlier in the year.

The Instagram carousel’s final video depicted the newlyweds standing on stage at the Wynn luxury hotel and casino in Las Vegas, to the serenade of Shania Twain’s “You’re Still the One,” holding champagne glasses. The couple’s Vegas wedding, along with a behind-the-scenes glimpse, recently aired on The Kardashians on Hulu. In the episode, Appleton revealed that his engagement ring, a unique creation from Gage, was crafted from the caviar tin they shared on their first date.
The episode also captured the moment when Appleton asked Kardashian to officiate the wedding. Despite joking about her own marital history (three marriages and divorces), Kardashian expressed her honor in being part of Appleton and Gage’s significant day.
Throughout their six months of marriage, Appleton and Gage were seen together at various events, celebrating Appleton’s 40th birthday with an extravagant boat trip in Turks and Caicos over the summer.
