Halle Bailey is seeking some privacy amidst swirling rumors suggesting her pregnancy with her boyfriend, DDG. Taking to her Snapchat Story over the weekend, the actress addressed a fan’s comment that focused on her “pregnancy nose,” cautioning her followers to refrain from discussing her appearance.
“If I see one more person say something about my nose one more time, it’s gonna be hell to pay,” she asserted. “And you know why? ‘Cause I am black. I love my nose. [What are you] concerned about my nose for? Leave me the hell alone!”
Despite firmly shutting down the rumors, the 23-year-old “Little Mermaid” star only revealed her face and neck in the video, deliberately avoiding direct commentary on the pregnancy speculation. Fans, interpreting her silence, expressed various opinions.

“Her addressing the nose but not the pregnancy part tells me everything I need to know!” commented one fan under The Shade Room’s repost of the video. Another viewer humorously remarked, “Girl, it ain’t just the nose, you got that out of breath pregnant voice too. 😂” A third doubter added, “Stop gaslighting us like we can’t tell you’re pregnant, Halle 😑. We can tell your nose has spread. We had the same s–t happen when we were pregnant.”
Rumors initially surfaced when Bailey briefly appeared in one of DDG’s livestreams in August. In September, fans speculated about her hiding a bump when she wore a flowy dress to the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. An eyewitness at the event informed Page Six exclusively that Bailey seemed cautious about being photographed and her interactions with others.
“Halle stayed away from the pink carpet so she would not be photographed, and when she was inside, she was very mindful in the way she gave hugs and who she gave them to,” they disclosed.
The pregnancy rumors gained momentum in October when Bailey and DDG were seen running errands in Santa Monica. Bailey’s choice of an oversized hoodie and a voluminous dress at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London further fueled speculation.
The Disney star and DDG have been romantically involved since at least January 2022, with Bailey describing the rapper as her “first deep, deep, real love” in a previous interview with Cosmopolitan.
