Singer Adele has seemingly confirmed her marriage to her two-year boyfriend, Rich Paul, a sports agent. The 35-year-old, who has won 16 Grammys, reportedly disclosed the exciting news during a comedy show hosted by her longtime friend Alan Carr on Saturday.
Two attendees shared their accounts with celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi, which subsequently posted the details on Instagram. One fan reported, “I was at Alan Carr’s comedy show in LA tonight, and Adele was in the audience. Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently, and Adele shouted, ‘I did.'” Another concertgoer mentioned, “When he asked if anyone got married recently, she yelled, ‘I did.’ Super cute all around and was super sweet but dipped right before it ended.”
A third person shared a similar anecdote, stating, “She was at a comedy show in LA, and he asked if anyone got married recently, and she said, ‘I did.'”
Adele has playfully referred to herself as Paul’s “wife” on various occasions, including during her Las Vegas residency show in September. In a video posted on TikTok, she humorously responded to a fan suggesting marriage with, “No, I don’t want to try. I’m with Rich. You’re crazy, leave me alone.”
Adele and Rich Paul went public with their relationship in July 2021, photographed courtside at an NBA basketball game. At that time, a source close to the couple confirmed they were “100 percent” dating. Adele praised Paul in a Rolling Stone interview, describing him as “incredible” and “openhearted,” emphasizing that their relationship was the “easiest” romance she had ever experienced.
In the subsequent year, Adele was spotted wearing a pear-shaped diamond ring on her ring finger. The singer shares a 10-year-old son, Angelo, with her ex-husband, Simon Konecki, from whom she separated in 2019 after over three years of marriage. Rich Paul has three children — Reonna, Richie, and Zane — from a previous relationship.
