The actor Rufus Sewell of “The Holiday” just got engaged to his fiancée, thirty-year-old Vivian Benitez. With two pictures that showed off a circular sparkler on her left ring finger, Benitez enthusiastically announced the news. Benitez, 26, took a happy picture with Sewell, 56, kissing her on the cheek in the second photo, while her hand studded with the new rock was seen in the first against a herringbone jacket.
Benitez humorously captioned the images on Tuesday, writing, “Till death (or him continuing to walk on bathmats with his outside shoes) do us part.” A day before the announcement of the engagement, Benitez shared a photo of herself in Rome, but she didn’t go into any specifics about the proposal.
With reference to the engagement, Sewell hasn’t posted anything or said anything on social media as of now. Acclaimed for his performance as Jasper in “The Holiday,” the actor has been romantically involved with Benitez for a minimum of six months. The pair has been in public a few times together, especially during the premieres of Sewell’s movies “Old” in July 2021 and “The Diplomat” in April of the same year, although they continue to have a largely private relationship.
Sewell will be getting married for the third time. One of his prior unions, to Yasmin Abdallah in 1999, ended in divorce the following year. He wed Amy Gardner in 2004, but the couple divorced in 2006. William Douglas, who is 21 years old, is shared by Sewell and Gardner. Sewell and his ex-girlfriend Ami Komai also have a 10-year-old daughter named Lola.
