By Thursday morning, the iconic artist had recovered, according to the hospital’s press officer, Ilaria Maria Di Battista, who stated that Smith should be able to resume performances after a period of rest.
Dr. Alessio Bertini, head of the emergency unit, commended Smith for her cooperation during her hospital stay, describing her as a person of reference for many generations. The hospital staff, including Dr. Bertini, had the opportunity to discuss music and favorite songs with the legendary artist.
