The actress and mother of two expressed her support for her longtime partner, Ryan Gosling, by sharing a video featuring the Barbie actor and music producer Mark Ronson in the studio. The duo seemed to be collaborating on a fresh rendition of their hit song “I’m Just Ken” from the blockbuster.
Against the backdrop of a Christmas tree, Gosling, 43, and Ronson, 48, were captured tinkering with a mixing board while a holiday-infused remix of the song played in the background. The clip concluded with the words “I’m Just Ken / Merry Kristmas Barbie” flashing on the screen, accompanied by a release date of Wednesday, Dec. 20, and a nod to Barbie the Album.

Throughout the year, Mendes has been a steadfast supporter of Gosling’s portrayal of Ken in Barbie. From reposting praise from the movie’s director, Greta Gerwig, to donning a T-shirt featuring his face, Mendes has shown unwavering encouragement. In an interview with Access Hollywood at the film’s world premiere in July, Gosling expressed his gratitude for Mendes’s support, emphasizing its significance.
As Gosling proudly promoted his role as Ken in Barbie, Mendes’s social media posts became a meaningful source of encouragement for the actor.
