Wearing a Patrick Swayze t-shirt in remembrance of the original John Dalton from the 1989 movie “Road House,” Gyllenhaal will be playing the role again in a forthcoming remake. In the updated plot, Gyllenhaal plays a former UFC fighter who works as a bouncer at a rough roadhouse in the Florida Keys. But as the summary puts it, he quickly discovers that the tropical paradise is actually a lie.
Prime Video released two snippets from their 2024 sizzle trailer, giving fans a glimpse of the actor in action and a preview of what to expect from the much-awaited film. The first footage showed off Gyllenhaal’s amazing body as he stood in a ring without a shirt, while the second showed off a thrilling street battle in which he deftly sidestepped blows and established control.
