Mark Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham have celebrated 14 years of marriage, and the renowned actor recently revealed their key to a successful union. In an interview with Fox News Digital, Wahlberg, co-founder of the Municipal clothing line established in 2019, emphasized the significance of their commitment to the church.
Expressing the gravity of their marital vows, Wahlberg stated, “Well, look, I mean, we got married in the church. You know, we made that commitment to each other. That’s something that we take very seriously, and so, communication, support.” Despite facing common challenges, he emphasized the importance of setting aside differences, highlighting the couple’s sense of gratitude.

Wahlberg expressed their thankfulness for their “beautiful family,” sharing four children – Ella (20), Michael (17), Brendan (15), and Grace (13). Reflecting on their life together, he remarked, “We have a beautiful family, beautiful life.”
Offering advice on marriage, the “Father Stu” actor advised, “You got anything you want to change? You just got to work hard to be able to go on and make those changes.”
Wahlberg opened up about his recent visit to his daughter Ella at her college in South Carolina during parents’ weekend. Reflecting on missed experiences, he shared, “There are only a few regrets that I have, and that was definitely one of them – not having that experience.”
The actor, known for his roles in “Ted” and “The Fighter,” acknowledged his longing for an athletic life, inspired by his daughter’s college sports scene. He reflected on playing various athletic roles in movies as a way to fulfill childhood fantasies of being an athlete.
Recently relocating with his family to Las Vegas, Wahlberg highlighted the benefits of a more relaxed and contained lifestyle. Describing the sense of community, he said, “It’s very small. Everybody knows everybody. Everybody’s kind of looking out for everybody. All kids are dialed in, and not a lot of other distractions, which has been great.”
Acknowledging the shift from LA, where he initially moved for the film business, Wahlberg expressed contentment with the decision. Despite missing the familiar weather and social scene, he emphasized the focus on achieving personal and family goals in their new environment.
In October, Wahlberg assured People magazine that the family had no regrets about the move, stating, “Everybody’s adapted nicely. The kids are all out at school, and everybody’s happy.”
