Comedian Katt Williams has reignited his ongoing feud with fellow comic/actor Kevin Hart, unleashing a series of provocative comments during an appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay YouTube show.
Responding to Williams’ remarks, Hart characterized them as “sad” while seizing the opportunity to promote his upcoming Netflix film. However, Williams did not hold back during the Sharpe interview.
“In my 15 years in Hollywood, no one recalls attending a sold-out Kevin Hart show, witnessing a line for him, or experiencing a standing ovation at any comedy club,” asserted Williams.
Later in the interview, Williams continued to target Hart, stating, “For a five-year period, every movie Kevin Hart did was originally a project on my desk. All I suggested was removing some of the outdated content, and I could take it on.
It doesn’t need overtly homosexual elements to be funny, right? I’m not homosexual. I expressed this concern, and they agreed, only to hand it over to another person who maintains the original content and then portray me as the villain for upholding my standards. It’s intriguing, but I wouldn’t trade my stance for anything. I continue to be on the winning side of these decisions.”
Hart fired back on social media, urging Williams to release his anger. “Gotta get that anger up outta champ… It’s honestly sad,” Hart responded. Taking advantage of the situation, Hart directed attention to his upcoming project, saying, “In the meantime… Please enjoy MY MOVIE TRAILER for my next film, ‘LIFT,’ set to release on @netflix in 8 days!!!!”
He added a playful touch, interpreting a line from the trailer as a reference to Williams, stating, “There’s a moment in the trailer where @gugumbatharaw says ‘They Really Love You’ … I now know she’s talking about ‘Katt.'”
