Paul Giamatti had quite the celebration after his big win at the Golden Globes. The 56-year-old Billions alum took home the award for best actor in a comedy or musical for his role in The Holdovers on Sunday. Following the ceremony, it seems Giamatti worked up quite an appetite.

Actor Michael Warburton shared the post-Golden Globes scene on Monday, capturing Giamatti’s down-to-earth moment at the Westwood In-N-Out in Los Angeles. The photo featured the Big Fat Liar star still dressed in his tuxedo, Golden Globe trophy in sight, eagerly preparing to enjoy a meal in the fast-food joint’s lobby.

The image also showcased other patrons engrossed in their own orders, creating a snapshot of the casual and unpretentious atmosphere. Before indulging in his In-N-Out Burger experience, Giamatti delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing gratitude to his fans and peers and dedicating the win to teachers.

In a lighthearted remark, Giamatti noted, “Surely this is the first time this award has been given to an actor who has played a man who smells like fish,” alluding to his character, Paul Hunham, a boarding school teacher dealing with a rare genetic condition known as Fish Odor Syndrome.

Expressing appreciation for teachers and their challenging yet vital role, Giamatti acknowledged his family’s long-standing tradition of being educators. He specifically gave a shout-out to his son Samuel, who recently graduated from college.

In The Holdovers, Giamatti takes on the role of a cranky history teacher stuck on campus over the holidays with a troubled student, played by Dominic Sessa. Da’Vine Joy Randolph also secured a win for best supporting actress for her performance in the movie.

Last month, Giamatti, known for his role in The Illusionist, revealed to PEOPLE the secrecy surrounding his portrayal of a cross-eyed teacher in The Holdovers. He hinted at the importance of the character’s eye issues and the rare genetic condition, emphasizing how they contribute to the character’s complexity and the challenges he faces in the movie.
