In the year 2023, Toyota Motor Europe achieved a remarkable milestone by delivering a total of 1,173,419 new Toyota and Lexus vehicles across the continent.
This figure reflected a notable increase of nine percent compared to the previous year, establishing a new record for annual deliveries. This marked the highest number of cars ever delivered by Toyota Motor Europe in a single year.
Out of the nearly 1.2 million new vehicles, 1,099,782 were Toyota-branded cars, showcasing a seven percent improvement from the previous year. A significant proportion, approximately 94 percent, of all cars delivered by Toyota Motor Europe in Europe during 2023 were Toyotas.

The popular models, including the Yaris, Yaris Cross, Corolla, C-HR, Aygo X, and RAV4, collectively contributed to 76 percent of all registered Toyotas. The electric bZ4X made a notable impact with 19,606 deliveries. Commercial vehicles constituted over 140,000 of the Toyotas delivered in Europe in the same period.
While Lexus’s contribution to Toyota Motor Europe’s deliveries was understandably smaller compared to the Toyota brand, it achieved commendable results by delivering 73,637 cars in Europe during 2023. This marked a substantial increase of 46 percent compared to the previous year.
Notably, the NX experienced a 47 percent growth in deliveries, while the larger Lexus RX recorded a significant 44 percent increase. Impressively, one-third of all RXs delivered featured a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
