Taylor Swift’s alleged stalker, David Crowe, has been arrested for the third time since Saturday. On Wednesday, the Seattle man was apprehended again after being observed engaging in dumpster diving near the pop singer’s $50 million Tribeca residence, as reported by police sources to The New York Post.
An eyewitness recounted seeing Crowe digging through a dumpster, retrieving blankets, and later sitting on the loading dock a few doors down from Swift’s apartment.
The 30-year-old, described as “emotionally disturbed,” was taken into custody immediately after a Manhattan judge granted him supervised release at his arraignment for stalking and harassment charges.
Photographs obtained by Page Six show Crowe, clad in beige pants, a neutral-colored coat, and a blue backpack, returning to Swift’s home after his release.
Despite having appeared at the Grammy winner’s apartment around 30 times in the past two months, the man did not provide any explanation for his fixation on her residence during the hearing.
Crowe’s latest arrest occurred just days after he was previously taken into custody on Monday following a neighbor’s report of a “disorderly person” on Franklin Street. He was spotted rummaging through a dumpster across from Swift’s Tribeca complex, leading to his re-arrest.
During Monday night’s arrest, an officer stated that Crowe had attempted to open a door to a building at the location. While the officer did not confirm whether Crowe was specifically trying to enter Swift’s apartment, a separate source indicated that he was attempting to do so.
Neighbors reported seeing Crowe in the area for about a month before his initial arrest, with one witness claiming he went up to Taylor’s door and had been keeping an eye on the building for weeks.
Another eyewitness mentioned Crowe’s month-long presence in the area, describing his behavior as uncomfortable, including sleeping on the stoop, chain-smoking, shouting, and expressing a desire to see Taylor.
Despite multiple calls to the police in the preceding weeks, law enforcement did not respond until Crowe attempted to break into the building. He was first detained on Saturday night but released without charges.
Swift’s whereabouts during Wednesday’s incident and whether she was at home remain unclear. The singer was spotted in upstate New York over the weekend, cheering on her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs during their playoff game against the Buffalo Bills.
