I’m Quitting Heroing (Yūsha, Yamemasu) is an ongoing novel Written by Quantum and Published by Kakuyomu. It’s Getting popular each day, as it has been announced that It’ll get an anime adaptation this year. The great news for people looking forward to this anime is that They revealed its key visual as well as premiere this month. As per the news, it will most probably air this April on AT-X, Tokyo MX, and some other stations.
On 20 October 2021, KADOKAWAanime uploaded the 1st promotional video (PV) for this anime. Since the video release, it has gained over 900,000 views. This year several anime will be released adapted from Light novels. As for I’m quitting Heroing. Its light novel was released in December 2017 and Currently has a total of three volumes in circulation. For now, The manga adaptation has five volumes. It started in May 2018. The Manga is published by Kadokawa Shoten. And once the anime is released, it will be handled by EMT Squared Studio. Yuu Nobuta being the director and Shigeru Murakoshi as the scriptwriter.
What’s the Plot of I’m Quitting Heroing?
Now, most of the Fantasy genre fans have already seen a similar storyline where the hero saves the world from “Demon king”. This time as well, the generic plot is followed by an unimaginable twist! The generic plot is that our Protagonist, Leo Demonheart, is constantly saving the world from the Demon King and His army. At some point, he became the strongest hero in the whole world. However, instead of being praised for his Heroism, he is feared by his fellow people since he becomes way too strong to the point where he becomes too dangerous for the people. His powers end up becoming a threat for the normal people, and hence he gets banished from the land. And now doesn’t have anywhere to go.
As a result, he Sided with the enemy. Leo Turns against the People he saved and reached out to the demon king, who was initially defeated by him. But now, he is seeking a job in the Demon King’s Army. As the army was in chaos. There were tons of problems that the army faced, like financial troubles and heavy workload. Eventually, Leo helps the demon king rebuild the army he destroyed himself. The story so far depicts his journey of rebuilding the army and solving the different problems it faced. This is what makes it one of the most unique pieces of Fantasy story ever seen. It doesn’t have a cliche storyline where the next plot point is predictable.
I’m Quitting Heroing: Release Date
The announcement for the Official Release date has been made public by Crunchyroll. The anime Premiere will be out in April 2022. Even though the particular date for the release of the anime is still not clear. However, We’ll keep you updated with the information. Anime Staff and Voice actors
The Main anime staff contains several well-known names and talented voice actors/actresses, the main staff involves Yu Nobuta as the General Director, Hisashi Ishii as the Director, and Hiroki Nakano as the Character Designer. The Voice actors and Actresses involved in this anime are Kensho Ono Playing Leo Demonheart, the Protagonist. Kensho is also famous for playing Tetsuya Kuroko in Kuroko’s Basketball. The role of Echidna will be played by Kaede Hondo. He also gave voice to Sakura Minamoto in Zombie Land Saga.
Shtina is going to be played by Shizuka Ito. Who played Minako Aino/Sailor Venus in Sailor Moon Crystal. Lili will be played by Hitomi Owada (Voicing Midori Imai in SHIROBAKO). Uchiyama Yumi (who Also played Rudeus Greyrat in Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) Will Be voicing Mernes. And Lastly, Tetsu Inada (Who played Sajin Komamura in Bleach) will be the voice actor of Edvard.
