Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan have officially reached a settlement to finalize their divorce, six years after their initial separation.
Both parties waived spousal support, thereby avoiding a trial that had been scheduled for December. It was the first to break the news of the divorce settlement.
Tatum, 44, and Dewan, 43, separated in 2018 after nearly nine years of marriage, with Dewan filing for divorce in October of that year.
The two met in 2006 while working on the film Step Up and became engaged two years later. They married in Malibu in 2009 and welcomed their daughter, Everly, now 11, in 2013.
The lengthy divorce process involved a dispute over the profits generated by the Magic Mike franchise, which began during their marriage.
Throughout the proceedings, Dewan’s legal team argued that the film was developed during their relationship and co-financed with marital funds, while Tatum’s attorneys countered that he had never concealed finances or denied Dewan her rightful share of the community assets and income.
Tatum is currently engaged to Blink Twice director Zoë Kravitz, with whom he has been romantically involved since 2021. Dewan, meanwhile, is engaged to Steve Kazee, and the couple has two additional children together: Callum, 4, and baby Rhiannon, born in June.
A source told in April that Dewan hoped to settle her divorce with Tatum before remarrying, though both were declared legally single by a judge in November 2019.
