Worst Roommate Ever Episode Recap

The first episode is about Dorothea Puente, AKA the “Death House Landlady”. She was a notorious Serial Killer who ran a boarding home for the elderly. Puente would murder and bury her helpless tenants. And use their social security cheques for herself. Even though she went to jail for her first murder, she returned to her old life fairly quickly. Furthermore, Puente ran her reign of terror for several more years till she was caught again. She killed over 8 people and was nicknamed the Death House Landlady. The second episode is about Kwang Chol Joy. AKA K.C Joy. However, The Ex-Military man was dishonorably discharged from service for reasons unknown. His sister explained how he had a really bad temper. She even had to get a restraining order against him when things got out of hand. Furthermore,  He is currently serving 15-years in prison for murdering his Roommate.

The third episode is about Youssef Khater, aka Josef Maria. His criminal charges include Attempted Murder, Arson, Fraud, and Embezzlement. The Ex-Navy man began his life of crime after he was dishonorably discharged from service. He tried to murder and bury a Texan woman so that he can keep her security deposit. Much to his surprise, the woman survived and went to the authorities leading to his downfall. The fourth and fifth episodes featured Jamison Bachman, AKA Jed Creek. That might be the most disturbing case of the worst roommate ever. Jed is a serial squatter who moves into places and refuses to pay. He does so by abusing tenancy laws. His presence becomes very unbearable to the roommate that they end up leaving their own home. His violent tendencies led to him murdering his brother. And ultimately to his suicide.

Further investigations revealed that he was also in violation of several laws about the Conservation of Wildlife. Leading to a sentence of 22 years in a Federal Prison.

The show was quite the hit when it premiered mid-Covid-19 Lockdown. The response was massively positive, with a million tuning into the watch. Furthermore, The show sets the bar for other similar shows very high. As it is not every day, you get a full-on confession from the Murderer. Even if it was via accident. Puppet Master: Hunting the Ultimate Conman is one of the Newest True Crime Documentaries on Netflix. The show is about Robert Freegard. He works as a car salesman as well as a bartender. Normal enough, right? No, because that’s not all he does. He finds unsuspecting people from his place of work and claims to be an Undercover Agent. He then makes them all sorts of favor for him. Ranging from asking them for money to asking them to cut off all contacts from their parents. Furthermore, he seduced several women, some of them were already in loving relationships, He took advantage of them by having them take up loans, only for him to steal them. And later come up with a ridiculous story about how he “lost” the money.

Puppet Master: Hunting The Ultimate Conman

The show has a total of 3 episodes of episode duration 42 Minutes. The show can be streamed exclusively on Netflix. The number of people he was able to scam with his lies is Astonishing. Makes you wonder if it’s that easy. His reign of terror finally came to an end on the 23rd of June 2005. When he got convicted of his crimes. On the 6th of September of the same year, he was sentenced to life in prison, which was later reduced after he won an appeal in 2007. The show had a generally good reception among viewers and has a similar rating to that of Worst Roommate Ever on IMDB. This might not be the most satisfying True Crime Documentary out there, but it’s good nonetheless. You will not regret watching it.

4. Monsters Inside: The 24 Faces Of Billy Milligan

This here series is about a guy with a very unique type of roommate. The one of the mind. This docuseries follows the life of Billy Milligan, who claimed he was inhabited by 24 other Personalities. Furthermore, these personalities made him do evil things. The “Evil Things” include several kidnappings, robberies, and even rape. Even though there was enough evidence linking Milligan to the Crimes he didn’t get any jail time. He spends his next several decades in mental health facilities. Where he was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder with 24 Unique identities inhabiting his body.

But in the movie character kidnaps and imprisons Teenage girls. The Character was in the 2019 Sequel movie Titled Glass as well. The show also depicts Milligan’s life after he was released from the care of the Mental Health Institution.
