Directed by Charlotte Fassler and Dani Girdwood, My Fault: London is an English-language version of the 2023 Spanish movie My Fault (Culpa Mía). The movie is based on Mercedes Ron’s popular book from the Culpables trilogy.
It tells the story of 18-year-old Noah, who moves to London with her mother, Ella, after she marries a wealthy British man named William.
In London, Noah meets her stepbrother, Nick, a reckless and mysterious young man she instantly dislikes. However, as they spend more time together, their heated arguments slowly turn into a strong attraction.
But behind the growing bond between Nick and Noah, a hidden danger lurks. Noah’s father, who has just been released from prison, is determined to find her and drag her into a dangerous situation—one that Nick knows nothing about.

Filming Locations of the Movie
In My Fault: London, Noah leaves her life in Florida and moves to London to be with her mother’s love, William, and his son. However, the filming didn’t take place in Florida.
The production team selected different locations in the United Kingdom, mainly in London and Kent, with important scenes filmed in both city and countryside areas. The production also captured key moments in the nearby English countryside, adding to the film’s tense atmosphere.
The main filming started on March 12, 2024, and ended in May that year.
London, England
My Fault: London made full use of the famous and varied locations in London to fully involve viewers in the exciting and intense drama. Several scenes were filmed at well-known spots, each adding its own unique feel to the story.
The filmmakers showed a “high-octane and sexier” version of London in the movie. Girdwood explained, “We wanted the city to feel like a character. It has to have a sense of wish-fulfilment and excitement. There are so many films that shoot in very generic or vague locations. We wanted ours to feel authentic.
” One of the memorable locations is Highwood, Mill Hill, a quiet area in north London, which was used as the home of William and Nick. The filmmakers picked this large, impressive house to leave a lasting impression of grandeur on the audience.

Further reflecting the movie’s focus on wealth, status, and ambition, The Shard, located at 32 London Bridge St, London SE1 9SG, was another key location. Standing 310 meters tall, it is one of London’s most famous landmarks, symbolizing modernity.
The sleek, modern design of The Shard made it the perfect place for scenes showing the characters’ goals and ambitions, highlighting both the luxury they want and the tension building in their lives.
“We wanted to keep it grounded so that people knew we were still in London,” Girdwood said, emphasizing her dedication to making the city feel real while showing a more dramatic side of it.

The Queen Elizabeth Car Park in Stratford serves as a special urban backdrop for Noah and Nick’s first kiss, giving a stunning view of the London skyline. The film’s car-racing scenes were filmed at the historic Brands Hatch racing circuit in Kent, adding excitement to the movie.
Nick and Noah’s trip to Ibiza was filmed in Tenerife, capturing the warmth and freedom they long for from their complicated lives. A part of ‘My Fault: London’ was filmed in Kent, a county in the southeastern part of England, famous for its beautiful countryside and historic places. One of the key and exciting scenes was filmed in Ramsgate, specifically in the Royal Harbour Approach Tunnel, located at Royal Harbour Approach, Ramsgate CT11 9BG.
The tunnel is more than 800 meters long and about 9.5 meters wide, creating a unique and dramatic environment for a high-speed car chase between two rival cars. This scene, full of tension, uses the tunnel’s narrow space and the way light comes through, adding to the intense feeling of danger the characters are facing.
