Christina Aguilera is a well-known American singer and entertainer with an estimated net worth of $160 million. She became famous in the late 1990s after releasing her debut album, which featured hit songs like “Genie in a Bottle” and “What a Girl Wants.”
Aguilera’s amazing singing talent and wide vocal range quickly made her a top star in pop music. Throughout her career, she has released many successful albums, exploring different music genres like R&B, soul, and Latin pop.
She has worked with many artists and has won several awards, including multiple Grammy Awards. Her music often focuses on themes like self-empowerment, love, and personal struggles.
In addition to singing, she has acted in movies such as “Burlesque” and worked as a coach on the popular TV show “The Voice.” Known for her bold fashion style and charitable work, Aguilera has used her fame to support various causes.
Christina Aguilera is ignoring comments about her appearance
On December 31, the singer shared her thoughts on her 2024 in an impactful Instagram post. The video started with several comments, like “Who is that?” and “That’s not Christina, are you serious?” before switching to some highlights from her year.
“This year, doing something a little different,” she wrote. “This is a reminder to everyone that you are your OWN STORYTELLER in your OWN LIFE. No one else can dictate who you are. No one deserves an explanation. I am evolved enough to know that nothing comes easy and no one is perfect. Everyone will judge you. No matter WHAT you do. And/ or what you don’t do.”
At 43, she talked about how her body image has changed over time, writing, “Acceptance comes with accepting yourself first. And the difficult journey it takes sometimes to get there.

I celebrate everyone taking the time to put one step in front of the next every day in order to build the next version of themselves for the better. Allowing yourself grace, patience, and respect…”
This isn’t the first time Christina has spoken about her self-acceptance journey. In August, she told Glamour that she struggled with people commenting on her body when she was younger and stopped watching late-night TV shows because of all the jokes.
Christina has also responded to rumors about her using Ozempic for weight loss. In May, social media users claimed she was using Ozempic, a diabetes medication that helps control blood sugar. However, Christina has not commented on this.
Some people use Ozempic off-label to help with weight loss. Celebrities like Oprah, Kelly Clarkson, Rebel Wilson, and Sharon Osbourne have admitted to using it for this purpose.
She’s felt insecure about her weight in the past, but now she doesn’t care what others think
In 2021, Christina shared that she used to feel “insecure” about her body until she “started filling out a little bit” as she got older.
“Entering this business, I hated being super skinny. Once I turned 21, I started filling out a little bit, and I was loving my new curves,” she told Health, according to People. “I appreciated having a booty. I’ve always said that women are way more interesting to look at than men. I have a hard time looking at the early pictures of myself because I remember feeling so insecure.”
A lot of Christina’s confidence when she was younger was based on “how skinny I was,” she explained to Glamour.

“When you’re a teenager, you have a very different body than when you’re in your 20s,” she said. “I started to fill out, and then that was unacceptable because it was like, ‘Oh, she’s getting thicker.’ Then I had industry people: ‘They liked your body and how you were as a skinny teenager.’”
But Christina learned to ignore the criticism. “I have a maturity now where I just don’t give a f*ck about your opinion. I’m not going to take it on,” she said. “It must be your responsibility to take up your space. Other people’s opinions of me are not my business.”
She follows the rainbow diet
Christina hasn’t talked much about her eating plan lately, but she has followed the 7-Day Color Diet in the past. With this plan, you eat a different color of food each day of the week, rotating between white, red, green, orange, purple, yellow, and rainbow (in that order).
In addition to those colors, people following the diet also eat eggs, chicken, milk, and cheese.
But in 2020, Christina said that she no longer diets and simply tries to eat whole foods, according to L’Officiel.
She’s dedicated to her workouts. Christina’s trainer talked about the singer’s exercise routine after she had her son, Max. Among other things, her trainer told Glamour that Christina enjoys lifting heavy weights, doing intervals, and including cardio exercises, like jumping rope, stair climbing, or boxing.
