Keak credited a Change.org petition for helping him get the medical care he needed while in prison. “I had my own cell, as far as on the medical level, they did,” he said. “They were there for me. As far as my pain medication … they weren’t really giving me any meds for pain.”
Doctors aren’t sure if Keak will ever walk again, but that hasn’t stopped him from believing.
“This chair is going out the door, so my fans can look forward to me walking,” he said. “I need a lot of support.” He also mentioned that dedication is the key to success.
“Hard work and dedication, and there ain’t nothing but drama on the street after midnight, so with that being said, be indoors.”
