It begins with the discovery of witches.” Well, if you follow ‘A Discovery Of Witches’ with all your heart, it wouldn’t have taken you a moment to recognize these lines. Directed by Juan Carlos Medina, Alice Troughton, and Sarah Walker, the series is based on Deborah Harkness’s ‘All Souls Trilogy.’ The title of the show is derived and named after the first book in the series. ‘A Discovery Of Witches’ made its debut in 2018 and aired its episode in September. She comes across Matthew Clairmont, a geneticist, who happens to be a vampire. Diana trusts him, and the two begin a new journey to unveil the mysteries that the manuscript beholds and what it means to the human and the magical beings. As we move forward, the story unfolds the romantic element between the two, and the world of fantasy adds in the colors of love. But their blooming love takes a powerful turn and begins to be a reason for destruction and ends up transporting Diana back in the time of Elizabethan London. Both of them are supposed to find a powerful witch teacher that may help Diana control her magical powers and search for the elusive Book Of Life.

While you’re witnessing the second season on your screens these days, you’re about to get a season 3 too. The show returned with a second season on January 8, 2021, and is currently streaming on the digital platform SonyLiv, AMC, and Amazon Prime. But with the return of the cast, the makes have made it official that the show has been renewed for a third season that will start airing soon.
Since the show is currently airing its second season, we shouldn’t hurry up much on the updates of the upcoming season. The team, however, is working for it but hasn’t released any other official news yet. But as per the assumptions, the third season is likely to air in January 2021.
