Young Sheldon hasn’t wished his fans ‘happy new year’ yet. You saw him last in December 2020, and he’s still on a winter break. But he is gonna come soon? Created by Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro, ‘Young Sheldon’ is an American Sitcom that serves as a spin-off prequel to one of the most popular television shows ‘The Big Bang Theory.’ It centers around Sheldon’s childhood and his family in the fictional town of Medford, Texas. He is nine and goes to high school since his academic and intellectual excellence has promoted him four classes up. It takes us back to the late 1980s and early 1990s, where Sheldon found it difficult to adjust with people who were quite unsure of how to deal with his unique capabilities.
Several references in the show are made in accordance with ‘The Big Bang Theory’ to keep up with the storyline. The show made its debut in September 2017 and is currently airing its fourth season.
Season 4 had successfully dropped 5 episodes as of now before it rescheduled it’s episode release dates. The last episode aired on 17 December 2020, and now the sixth episode is scheduled to air on 21 January 2021. Since the show was in the winter break phase, CBS aired the old episode in the ‘Young Sheldon’ timeslot.

Preview: Young Sheldon Episode 6
After so much delay, we feel that the show is back. The upcoming episode is titled ‘Freshman Orientation and the Inventor of the Zipper’, which will feature Young Sheldon going to college and depict his college orientation on day 1. But the young genius, who enjoys getting the advanced level of education, that caters to his intelligence is unlikely to enjoy his first day. The orientation might prove to be a disaster for him and spill water on his excitement and expectations.
In addition to the college blunder with Sheldon, there another one awaiting Mary. She receives a party invitation as the inviter mistake her for a university student.

Recap: Episode 5
George takes Mary on a trip to Coach’s Conference, with his assistant coach Wilkins and his wife, and doesn’t tell Mary about the conference. This upsets her, and the couple begins fighting and arguing. Wilkins and his wife help the duo to get back to each other and put an end to their fights and appreciate each other.

In the previous episode, we also see a segment between Georgie and Jana that ignites some heated argument between the two. Initially, Jana has this notion in his mind that she is going to have a baby, and she tells Georgie about it. Both of them are shocked at this news, and Jana takes a pregnancy test. While she’s testing, Georgie is lost in thoughts of being a father and panics at this discovery. But eventually, Jana reveals that she isn’t pregnant and both breathe in the air of relief. Georgie then mentions that he is scared of marrying her, and this upsets Jana to the core.
The show stars Iain Armitage as Sheldon Cooper, alongside Zoe Perry as Mary Cooper, Lance Barber as George Cooper Sr., Montana Jordan as Georgie, Raegan Revord as Missy, and various like Annie Potts, Matt Hobby, Ryan Phuong, Wallace Shawn, and Melissa Peterman in prominent roles.
