With the Superhero drama getting the hype it deserves day by day, we have seen many shows from different content creators. The recent among them is The Falcon and The Winter Soldier from Marvel Studios for Disney+, other than that, and they have many shows coming up. Just like that, Black Lightning is also getting the attention it deserves. About Black Lightning
Salim Akil developed the show for The CW. Black Lightning is an American superhero series that premiere way back in 2018. the story centers around the character Black Lightning. Initially, the show was about to be produced by Fox, but due to some reasons, they canceled be part of this project.
But things got right when CW step in to produce the show. CW’s decision was proved to be right when every new season passed, the series gained traction, thus forming a sustainable fanbase for the show. Therefore the show was fortunate enough to get a new season every time. As said, the series is centered around Black Lightning.
But he is not the Black Lightning, and he is now Jefferson Pierce, a principal of Garfield High School. Even though he is now an ordinary principal of a High School, things weren’t as same as before. Jefferson was once a superhero called Black Lightning. Jefferson retired from being a superhero as life being a superhero was causing many problems for him.
Being a superhero really affected his personal life and thinking about the safety of his wife and daughters. This all was the reason for him to retire and lead an everyday life. And if you guessed it, you are right, and it’s tough to lead an ordinary life after being a superhero. It’s almost impossible. Someday, they have to come out of their comfort zone to be again in the limelight of danger.
Jefferson finally decided to lift the title of Black Lightning when 100, a group of very feared criminals, flooded the city of Freeland, where the story is taking place with crimes. During the fight with them, his daughters were kidnapped, which was one reason he was cold about his Superhero life.
But some twists are awaiting as Jefferson isn’t the only person who have superpowers, both his daughters were also having powers related to thunder and electricity. Season 1 follows how his daughters try their best to take down the gang of 100, lead by the main villain Tobias Whale.
Towards the end of season two, Tobias was able to get his hands on the briefcase and the contents inside. Jennifer tried her best by utilizing the training, thus improving her powers to the maximum. In season 4 of Black Lightning, we are expecting to see some new adventures. Do note that this fan-favorite series is heading to its finale as this is the last Season. So this is a must-watch.
The Cast Of Black Lightning Season 4 Episode 2
Cress Williams will play the role of Jefferson Pierce, also known as Black Lightning. China Ann McClain will continue her role as Jennifer, also known as Lightning, daughter of Jefferson. The role of the ex-wife of Jefferson, Lynn Stewart, will be played by Christine Adams.
We will also see Nafessa Williams playing the role of Anissa, another daughter of Black Lightning, and she is also known as Thunder and Blackbird. Damon Gupton will put the character of Bill Henderson, a detective of high-ranking on the force. And the cast will also have James Remar, Jordan Calloway, and Chantal Thuy.

The first episode of season 4 was recently released on February 8th, titled “The Book Of Reconstruction: Chapter 1”. In this episode, we saw the death of Henderson. Thus Leaving our protagonist in a very complicated situation. Jefferson has already gone through a lot. So it will be interesting to see how the episode will move forward with all this happening. The second episode of Black Lightning season 4, titled “Book of reconstruction: Chapter 2” is scheduled to be released on February 15th, 2021.
