Andrew Symonds’s memorial service took place in Australia. The 46-year expired in a car crash earlier this month. To say that Australian cricket is going through a rough patch would not do justice. And now, Symonds joins the list. A fatal car crash resulted was the reason for his death. No other car was involved in the accident. Reports suggest that the vehicle Symonds was in left the roadway and rolled.
Notably, he was 46 at the time of death. He leaves behind his wife and two children.
His death had left the cricketing world in utter shock. A private memorial service took place in his memory. Many of his former teammates were present in it. After that, a public memorial followed.

Furthermore, he was a lover of Test cricket. He represented Australia 26 times in Tests. However, it was in ODIs and T20s where he excelled. His tally of 5088runs and 133 wickets in 198 ODIs is an example. Also, Symonds was an exceptional fielder.
Notably, he played for teams like Queensland in Australia and Mumbai Indians in the IPL. He also won the IPL title in 2009 while playing for the Deccan Chargers.
