The Four-time nominated Golden globe Awards actress Cameron Diaz revealed that she may have been an unwitting drug mule. Diaz reveals her story of a “drug mule,” a young woman who began her journey when she moved to Paris to pursue her modeling career.
Cameron Diaz was given a locked suitcase
During her career in the US, she earned a good amount of money as a catalog model, but in Paris, she didn’t work a day. she said, “I was there a full year, and I didn’t work one day. I couldn’t book a job to save my life. “I got like one job, but I think I was like a mule carrying drugs to Morocco– I swear to God.”
In the early 1990s, Cameron Diaz remembered her modeling assignment, where she was given a locked suitcase with her costumes. It happened when she was at the airport in Morocco. When asked to open the suitcase, she started thinking, “What the fuck is in that suitcase? I’m like this blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl in Morocco. It’s the nineties. I am wearing torn jeans and platform boots and my hair down. This is unsafe.” It was not her suitcase, and she had no idea whose it was.
Thankfully, it was before any security measures were in place at the airport. She told Hillary Kerr for her second life podcast series, “that was the only job I ever got in Paris.”
