Antonio Brown has made a $15,000 payment towards his child support obligations following his recent arrest. In a video posted on Tuesday, he appeared to express bitterness about the situation.
The former NFL star found himself behind bars on Sunday, facing accusations of evading child support payments to his ex-partner, Wiltrice Jackson. However, he promptly provided the necessary $15,000 to secure his release.
On Tuesday, Brown shared a video on his Instagram account, where he could be seen singing lyrics from Young Jeezy that suggested his displeasure with Jackson, who is the mother of his 15-year-old daughter. Holding what seemed to be a receipt for the child support payment and a substantial amount of cash, he sang, “And I don’t wanna tell my child that his moms ain’t s***, and this ain’t about me, she just a money-hungry b****.”
In the days leading up to this incident, Jackson had spoken to TMZ Sports, expressing her frustration with Brown for allegedly failing to meet his child support responsibilities, claiming he owed her nearly $31,000. “I do want him arrested,” she asserted. “Because, right now, he’s making a mockery out of the judge, out of everything, because he feels like he’s untouchable.”
Since his release from custody, Brown has been observed engaging in a shopping spree at a mall and residing in a high-rise apartment in New York City.
