Insiders have disclosed that Jace, the son of Jenelle Evans, is presently in the hospital after once again running away from home. This follows a previous incident in September when Jace went missing, prompted by an alleged altercation with Jenelle’s husband, David Eason.
Authorities later located Jace and entrusted him to his grandmother Barbara’s care. However, in a recent development, Jace has run away from home again, leading to his current hospitalization under the supervision of Child Protective Services (CPS).

Concerns about Jace’s well-being have resurfaced amidst these events. Sources with direct knowledge revealed on Monday to TMZ that the 14-year-old had a disagreement with Barbara stemming from an incident at school where he was caught vaping. Barbara responded by confiscating Jace’s phone, despite earlier advice from Jenelle, CPS, and the foster care team to refrain from providing him with one. Unfortunately, this decision led to Jace fleeing home once more.
Following the removal of his phone, authorities swiftly intervened, locating Jace on Sunday at 11:45 pm and subsequently placing him in the hospital under CPS care. The latest update indicates that CPS intends to move Jace to foster care due to his repeated instances of running away. Furthermore, there is a possibility that continued misconduct could result in his placement in a juvenile detention facility.
Notably, communication remains strained between Jace and his mother, Jenelle Evans. The teenager has chosen to maintain a distance from both his mother and stepfather since being placed in Barbara’s care by the authorities.
