Las Vegas law enforcement reported the dissolution of an unauthorized Kanye West rave on Thursday night due to the absence of a proper license. Police collaborated with Clark County to disperse a crowd of 200 to 300 people at an unlicensed gathering located in the 13000 block of South Decatur Boulevard that evening.

An Instagram post promoting the rave indicated the event’s address as 13850 Decatur Boulevard, along with coordinates pointing to a location just south of Las Vegas near Speed Vegas. Videos captured by attendees, circulating online, depict masses leaving a warehouse at the specified address.

Residents Ron Bieker and Greg Nicholson, among about 20 neighboring homes, shared their experiences. Bieker expressed the disturbance caused by the continuous bass drum beats throughout the night, even audible in his bedroom until around 1 a.m. Nicholson, curious about the noise, discovered a gathering of people, initially mistaking them for nighttime protesters.

Although the ticketing page no longer displays pricing information, a verified Instagram account named “Yzy” previously shared an admission cost of $2000, inclusive of merchandise. A subsequent Instagram post showcased the event’s merchandise, prompting online comments questioning the steep ticket price.

The event, slated to commence at midnight with doors opening at 11 p.m., concluded without any arrests, as per police reports. Clark County business license agents arrived around 9:45 p.m., issuing a Notice of Violation to the primary promoter for “conducting business without a license” and “holding a special event without permits.” Law enforcement’s intervention aided in preventing the unauthorized event from proceeding.

Clark County has disclosed an ongoing investigation, suggesting potential additional violations and the involvement of other businesses in the matter.
