Reports indicate that the individual who allegedly attacked Charlie Sheen has been apprehended by the police. The former Two and a Half Men star’s neighbor was taken into custody on Wednesday following a battery/disturbance call in Malibu, according to a statement from a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The statement outlined that upon responding to the call, deputies identified Charlie Sheen as the victim of an assault. The suspect was subsequently arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, force likely to cause great bodily injury and residential burglary.

TMZ, the first to break the news, reported that the 47-year-old woman allegedly knocked on Sheen’s door and attempted to strangle him upon his answer. After the alleged incident, she reportedly returned to her own residence. Fortunately, Sheen, 58, did not require medical attention.
According to the outlet, Sheen informed authorities that he had previous issues with the woman. He claimed that she had recently sprayed his vehicle with a “sticky” substance and dumped trash in his house. However, Sheen also disclosed that they had resolved their issues through communication, although this occurred prior to the reported strangulation attempt.

He emphasized his commitment to single fatherhood and raising his 14-year-old twin boys, Max and Bob.
