Sophie Turner is set to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s in the UK with her two daughters, Willa and Delphine, alongside ex-husband Joe Jonas. According to court documents obtained by People on Sunday, the “Game of Thrones” star will continue to be with the children until January 7, after which they will return to New York City with Jonas.
Despite the custody agreement, it remains uncertain whether the former couple will reunite for Christmas, as indicated by Jonas’ Instagram Story on December 24, which showed him still in London. Last week, the 27-year-old “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” actress was spotted taking a rainy day stroll in London with her daughters, aged 3 and 1, bundled up in a black coat while pushing them in a stroller.
In contrast, the 34-year-old Jonas Brothers member was seen entering the Chiltern Firehouse hotspot. The custody arrangement was settled amicably during a multi-day meditation in October, as revealed by an agreement obtained by Page Six. The agreement outlined the children’s custody arrangements leading into January 2024.
Willa and Delphine were scheduled to spend Thanksgiving with their father and Christmas with their mother, as approved by Jonas and Turner. The “Hesitate” singer initiated the divorce in September after four years of marriage, leading to a somewhat messy separation. Turner filed a lawsuit against Jonas, seeking the immediate return of their children to Europe in compliance with their pre-breakup agreement to raise them in England.
Despite the legal drama, both parties later expressed their commitment to being “great co-parents,” and Jonas filed for a private divorce settlement. Turner has since moved on, being spotted kissing aristocrat Peregrine Pearson in November, while Jonas has yet to publicly reveal any new romantic relationships.
