Expressing her grief, Press shared a heartfelt message on Instagram Stories, saying, “RIP to the love of my life, @alecmusser. I will never stop loving you. My heart is broken.”
In subsequent posts, she conveyed the profound sadness of the day, expressing how happy they were, and officially confirmed Musser’s passing on January 13, 2024, with the dates “RIP 4/11/73 — 1/13/24.” The news was also confirmed by TMZ, revealing that Musser died at his residence in Del Mar, California. The cause of death remains unconfirmed.

Alec Musser gained fame by taking on the role of Del Henry in the ABC soap opera “All My Children,” succeeding Winsor Harmon through the SOAPnet reality TV contest “I Wanna Be a Soap Star.” His debut was in 2005, and he concluded his tenure on the show in 2007. Musser’s acting career included appearances in “Rita Rocks,” “Grown Ups,” and “Road to the Altar.” His final role was portraying Fredrich in the concluding season of “Desperate Housewives” in 2011.
