A recent undercover raid in the West Bank hospital involved around a dozen troops, some disguised as women and medical staff, as depicted in circulated CCTV footage. Palestinian news agency Quds identified the three killed as Mohammad Jalamneh, and the brothers Basil and Mohammad al-Ghazawi.
Hamas and Islamic Jihad claimed the victims, while Israel accused these groups of using hospitals as shields. The Israeli military defended the raid, citing it as an example of terrorist organizations exploiting civilian areas and hospitals as shelters and human shields.
This incident echoes a similar 2015 hospital raid where undercover Israeli units disguised themselves as Palestinians to apprehend a stabbing suspect and confront a Hamas operative.
