The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has reported a significant fundraising achievement, disclosing that it amassed $12.3 million in December alone. This brings the total amount raised in the fourth quarter of 2023 to an impressive $28 million, according to information obtained by POLITICO.
Highlighting the December total, the DCCC emphasized that House Democrats’ fundraising outpaced that of the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) by $5 million for the same month.

In addition to the monthly success, the DCCC has marked a notable increase in member dues for the year 2023 compared to 2021. The committee managed to raise $1.3 million more in member dues, demonstrating a 13 percent rise in participation rate among members contributing dues for 2023 when compared to 2021.
This boost in financial support is crucial for Democrats as they aim to regain control of the House, underscoring the party’s concerted effort to encourage lawmakers to fulfill their dues obligations to the campaign arm.
Expressing gratitude for the achievements, DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene acknowledged the leadership of Hakeem Jeffries and the entire House Democratic Caucus.
DelBene stated, “I am grateful for the leadership of Hakeem Jeffries and the entire House Democratic Caucus who have helped ensure that the DCCC will have the resources it needs to take back the majority to defend reproductive rights, stop extremism in its tracks, and help grow the middle class,” in a released statement.
