Stefanik once considered a moderate Republican but now a staunch Trump ally who has risen to prominence in the House leadership, took a particularly aggressive stance in defending Trump against his legal troubles.
She seized on the opportunity to highlight Republican-led congressional inquiries into President Biden and his son Hunter, dubbing them the “Biden crime family,” despite significant doubts cast on the credibility of these investigations.
In her address, Stefanik warned of increasingly desperate tactics from Democrats and the media to undermine Trump’s potential victory in the next election. She emphasized her unwavering support for Trump, despite previous private criticisms, underscoring the importance of loyalty and deference to the former president, qualities that Trump and his campaign have made clear are paramount.
