President Joe Biden announced on Friday that the United States would be taking action to deliver relief supplies to Gaza following the deaths of over 100 Palestinians at an aid convoy. Biden expressed the need for increased efforts, stating, “We need to do more, and the United States will do more.”

Speaking at the White House during a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Biden outlined plans for the coming days. He stated, “In the coming days, we’re going to join with our friends in Jordan and others in providing air drops of additional food and supplies.”

The decision to deliver aid via air drops comes in response to the recent tragedy in Gaza, where a chaotic encounter with Israeli troops led to the deaths of over 100 Palestinians. The situation has drawn international attention and calls for action to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Biden’s announcement reflects a commitment to providing much-needed assistance to the people of Gaza. By working with allies like Jordan, the United States aims to deliver essential supplies to those in need and alleviate the suffering caused by the ongoing conflict in the region.

As efforts to deliver aid continue, the international community will be watching closely to see how these actions impact the situation on the ground in Gaza.

The delivery of relief supplies via air drops represents a significant step in addressing the immediate needs of the people affected by the conflict, but further efforts will be needed to achieve lasting peace and stability in the region.
