Kensington Palace has not yet confirmed whether the Princess of Wales will attend an event organized by the Ministry of Defence (MoD), confusing her potential involvement.
The Telegraph reported that the palace was unconcerned before the announcement, adding to the uncertainty surrounding her attendance.
An online ticket booking site for Trooping the Colour indicated that Kate Middleton, who recently underwent abdominal surgery, would review soldiers on parade as Colonel of the Irish Guards. However, the palace has not confirmed her participation in the event.
While plans are in place for the Princess to attend, sources close to the situation stated that the palace would officially announce her attendance once a final decision had been made.

The MoD’s announcement follows a recent sighting of the Princess in a car with her mother near Windsor Castle, marking her first public appearance since December. This appearance has helped dispel rumors circulating on the internet about her whereabouts and health in recent weeks.
Reports suggest that the Princess of Wales is recovering at home in Adelaide Cottage in Windsor following her surgery at The London Clinic.
Kensington Palace has provided updates on Kate’s recovery, stating, “Kensington Palace made the timelines of the Princess’s recovery clear in January, and we’d only be providing significant updates. That guidance stands.”
The Army’s website, selling tickets for the event for £15, describes the Trooping the Colour event reviewed by the Princess as identical to the one traditionally inspected by the monarch. This year, the event will take place on June 15, the weekend following the one on which the Princess is expected to attend.
The event will feature over 1,400 soldiers from the Household Division and The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, including 400 musicians from the Massed Bands.
Additionally, 250 soldiers from the Foot Guards will line the processional route along The Mall, all of whom will be inspected by the Princess.
