Former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney has expressed her concerns about the potential ramifications of former President Trump’s reelection in 2024.
During an appearance on “Special Report,” Cheney voiced her fears, highlighting what she believes would be the consequences of another Trump presidency.
Meanwhile, a recent report has detailed a “hidden transcript” that suggests the Jan. 6 congressional committee may have misled the public regarding evidence related to the Trump administration’s request for National Guard assistance on January 6th.

Georgia Republican Rep. Barry Loudermilk has alleged that the committee withheld critical witness testimony from Anthony Ornato, former White House Deputy Chief of Staff, which contradicted their narrative.
According to Loudermilk, Ornato’s testimony confirms former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows’ claims that Trump offered 10,000 National Guard troops to secure the U.S. Capitol, a request that was allegedly turned down.
Loudermilk released a transcript of Ornato’s interview with the committee, conducted in January 2022, in which Ornato reportedly stated that Meadows had asked D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser to request as much protection for D.C. as she needed.

The committee, consisting of seven Democrats and two former Republican Congress members, including Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, concluded that there was “no evidence” to support the claim that the Trump administration called for 10,000 National Guard members to be deployed to Washington, D.C. Trump has maintained that he did request the National Guard but that Speaker Pelosi failed to act on the request.
Despite the committee’s findings, Loudermilk’s release of Ornato’s transcript raises questions about the committee’s handling of evidence and its conclusions regarding the events of January 6th.
