Rogers’ candidacy has garnered support from top Senate Republicans and the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Sen. Steve Daines, the committee’s chairman, has worked closely with Trump to navigate primary races and endorsed Rogers.
National Republicans have long seen Rogers as a strong candidate for the Senate, dating back to his retirement from the House a decade ago.

A recent survey showed Rogers leading former Rep. Peter Meijer by a significant margin, with Meijer’s vote to impeach Trump in 2021 likely hurting his viability in the race.
