Mila, a schoolgirl from Falkirk, Scotland, who received visits from Kate during her cancer treatment, plans to support the princess.
Mila gained attention during the pandemic when a photo of her in isolation while undergoing leukemia treatment went viral. Kate visited Mila twice in 2021, and the princess also sent her a handwritten note of support after she completed her treatment.
Mila’s mother, Lynda, expressed sadness about Kate’s cancer diagnosis and mentioned that Mila would reach out to the princess privately. Lynda also extended love and support to William, George, Charlotte, and Louis, wishing Kate a speedy recovery.
Others on social media echoed the sentiment, praising Mila’s kindness and predicting that she would lift Kate’s spirits just as Kate had done for her.
Following Kate’s announcement about her cancer diagnosis and treatment, Kensington Palace stated that both Prince William and Kate were deeply touched by the public’s support and thanked everyone for respecting their privacy during this time.
Kate’s diagnosis was a shock, but she reassured her children that she would be okay. Messages of support poured in from around the world, including from other members of the Royal Family and world leaders.
Kate’s positive mindset and determination for recovery have been noted, and she is said to be in good spirits as she undergoes chemotherapy.
