Prince William and Kate Middleton have sought solace in their vacation abode amidst Kate’s ongoing battle with cancer.
Reportedly, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, accompanied by their three children, took a helicopter from Adelaide Cottage in Windsor to Anmer Hall in Norfolk last Saturday, as per “Entertainment Tonight.”
It’s said that the family plans to spend the Easter school break at their property in the Sandringham Estate, as confirmed by sources, opting out of the yearly holiday church service at St. George’s Chapel, as per Page Six.
Kate Middleton revealed that her husband, Prince William, has been an unwavering pillar of support during her health struggles. The couple chose to disclose the news of her illness only after ensuring their children comprehended the gravity of the situation.
The decision to disclose the diagnosis was catalyzed by a security breach at the hospital where Middleton underwent surgery. Multiple staff members attempted to access her medical records, prompting the couple to make the announcement, according to royal expert Valentine Low’s remarks to Page Six last week.
Following the revelation, Middleton retreated from public appearances to focus on her recovery. However, her absence fueled speculations and wild conspiracy theories about her health and whereabouts, despite reassurances from her representatives that she wouldn’t resume her royal duties until after Easter.
Concerns further escalated when Middleton shared a significantly edited photo of herself with her children on British Mother’s Day, having been absent from official events since December. She later apologized for the edited image, reassuring the public by being spotted with Prince William shopping at a farm stand in Windsor amid the turmoil.
The news of Middleton’s cancer diagnosis follows King Charles II’s announcement of his own battle with the disease on February 5th.
The 75-year-old monarch expressed his pride in Catherine’s bravery for speaking openly about her condition through a spokesperson from Buckingham Palace, who stated that the King is providing unwavering love and support to his daughter-in-law.
Reportedly, Middleton and King Charles II had a private lunch a day prior to her public announcement, where they discussed their shared health challenges.
