Three individuals sustained gunshot wounds in a brazen daylight incident transpiring in the parking lot of a Safeway in American Canyon, a municipality nestled in the southern reaches of Napa County, as reported by officials.
The American Canyon Police Department disseminated information via a news release on Facebook, detailing their prompt response to the shooting, which occurred around 4:30 p.m. at 103 West American Canyon Road.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered three men afflicted with gunshot injuries and administered initial medical aid prior to the arrival of medical services. The wounded individuals were subsequently transported to a nearby medical facility, with their current medical status undisclosed, according to police statements.
Although no arrests have been executed as of yet, authorities revealed the temporary detainment of two individuals for interrogation purposes.
