Kacie Merrick, senior manager of Corporate Partnerships at Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation, praised the innovative use of 3D animated backdrops, which transported the audience through various dynasties and realms, enhancing the storytelling aspect of the performance.
The interaction between performers and the backdrop was particularly enticing, noted Sam Sokol, inventor of Graticube, who described the experience as “fun and playful” while also conveying a sense of magic and wonder.
Shen Yun’s repertoire encompasses China’s rich history, from ancient legends to contemporary tales, shedding light on themes of perseverance and faith despite communist oppression.
Audience members were deeply moved by the portrayal of these poignant narratives, with Mrs. Pepper expressing her emotional response and appreciation for the truth conveyed through the performances.
